Chairman of Monimichelle Sports Facility Constitution Ltd Ebi Egbe has expressed his gratitude to Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for deeming him fit to handle the revamping of the Enyimba International Stadium.
The edifice was re-opened at a colourful event on Sunday.
“Everybody celebrated my success story simply because the Enyimba Stadium is now a success and I must thank Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for his commitment to the project,” Ebi Egbe said.
“When I was given the project the state never made monetary commitment but I was determined to do the project and I know what recommendation I will get when the project is completed.
“I will always appreciate the effort of the state Government for choosing my company Monimichelle Sports Facility Constitution Ltd among other companies that bidded for Enyimba Stadium project.”
“We just used the stadium to make statements that indigenous company can do better if given the opportunity to work, look at all the ex-international who came they all appreciated what we have on ground in Aba.
The highly revered Egbe thanked the people of Aba for coming out to witness the historic re-opening of the Stadium.
“I must express my joy for the people of Aba who took time out to come and witness the official re-opening of Enyimba International Stadium on Sunday.”
“I will also use this moment to encourage them to come and watch and cheer Enyimba up on Wednesday as they play their CAF Confederation Cup last group game against Cara Brazzaville.”
“We are going to show the World what we can do and the game will be played under floodlights and I want the Aba people and all Enyimba supporters to come out and see what we have turned Enyimba Stadium,” he concluded.
