Despite a 1-0 first leg loss to Rangers in Glasgow, striker Sylvester Igboun says his UFA team will pick up the pieces and qualify for the Group stage of the UEFA Europa League.
The Russian side are at home to the Steven Gerrard managed team today, and Igboun has tipped UFA to cancel the deficit and qualify.
Speaking to Futbalgalore.com on Wednesday, the Super Eagles played said, “We have a very tricky fixture against Rangers at our home ground.”
“They (Rangers) have slight advantage having won 1-0 in their first leg. We want to cancel the deficit and qualify at their expense.
The former Midtjylland star says early goal will be key for the Russian outfit.
“Early goal will be very important for us. It will make us play under less pressure. We also need to ensure that they make mistakes and punish them.
