Sunday Adetunji is “honoured” by his Nigeria call-up to face Liberia, reports Futbalgalore.com.
The young striker is one of the uncapped players in Gernot Rohr’s squad for Tuesday’s friendly in Monrovia.
“I am honoured, because not everyone gets called up to play for Nigeria,” said the Enyimba striker.
“I will do my best for the Super Eagles jersey. I am fully aware of how important it is.”
The match is in celebration of Liberian President, former World Footballer of the Year George Oppong Weah.
It is scheduled for Tuesday evening at the 35,000-capacity Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex.
