Semi Ajayi was one of two Nigeria players who got their first cap against Seychelles in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on Saturday.
The Rotherham United came off the bench as a second half substitute during the 3-0 win for the Super Eagles at the Stade Linite.
“It was wonderful. Without doubt these have been the three most important days of my career so far, as the Super Eagles is the objective of all players. I’m very happy,” smiled Semi Ajayi to Futbalgalore.com.
“I already played with the U20 team in past, so am familiar with the terrain,” the ex-Arsenal man continued.
“I hope to play more games so I can make an impact, improve and earn the confidence the Coach has put in me.”
