Mighty Jets striker Okiki Musampa has said there is more to come from him and his team-mates after he led the Jos based side to a 2-1 win over Ekiti United in the Aiteo Cup Round of 64 game on Monday.
The former Shooting Stars striker scored Jets second goal as they advanced to the Round 32 of the Aiteo Cup, a feat Musampa attributed to his side’s determination to win the 2018 Aiteo Cup.
“It was a great game for us and I’m glad we won against a very difficult team like Ekiti United. They fought really hard and even got a goal after we went 2-0 up,” Musampa told 9jafooty.
“When they got the goal, they became more determined to equalise but we fought hard to earn the victory and advance to the next stage.
“There is more to come from me and my team-mates because we are all focused on one goal. The goal is to win the Aiteo Cup and we are determined to do so.
Musampa, who was playing his first game for Mighty Jets after a mid-season move believes he will score more goals for his new club.
“I feel great and I’m happy being in Jos. This is my first game for my new team am very happy for the goal.” he revealed.
“My plans for the Aiteo cup is to score goals that will make my team win every match that come our way. The goal is very important to me and my team as well. It turned out to be the deciding goal and everyone was happy as and we all celebrated the goal.
I’m extremely pleased playing my first match for the team and scoring in the same game but most importantly it helped us win the game.” Musampa added.
