Nigeria’s Flying Eagles Manager Paul Aigbogun has named a solid starting XI to face the Maroons of Qatar for Friday’s group D FIFA U20 World Cup opener.
The enterprising starting lineup is made up of seven local based players with the four foreign based filling up the remaining space.
Oasis custodian Olawale Oremade has been chosen as the man between the sticks with with central defenders Valentine Ozornwafor and Aliu Salawudeen protecting the shot stopper.
Rabiu Zulkifilu will feature from the right back position with captain Ikouwen Utin playing from the left side of the defence.
Jamil Mohammed, Maxwell Effiom will play at the heart of the midfield with Kingsley Michael and Henry Offia playing on the right and left wings respectively.
Tijani Mohammed will spear head the attack with Tom Dele-Bashiru playing right behind the Banik Ostrava striker.
The match is scheduled for 5pm at Tychy Stadium, Poland.
