Nigeria Under 23 star, Olabiran Muyiwa is eyeing the coveted Russian Football National League (RFNL) trophy as FC Tambov face Zenit II this afternoon.
FC Tambov who recently gained promotion to the Russian Premier League will host Zenit II in one of the final Matchday fixtures of the RFNL which will be decided at the Spartak Stadium, today.
To emerge champions of the Russian second tier league, the Wolves must beat bottom placed Zenit II but Olabiran believes his team have all it takes to be victorious after 90 minutes.
“I think we have all it takes to emerge champions today,” he disclosed in interview with Futbalgalore.com.
“We have a lot of factors working for us. We will be playing in front of our fans and I think that will go a long way in helping us to win.
“We are also aware that we must defeat them to emerge as champions and I believe we will do just that. This is an opportunity for us to called champions and we want make good use of it.”
FC Tambov are currently sitting comfortably at the top of the RFNL table with 70 points from 37 games two points above second placed PFC Sochi they will be crowned champions should they beat Zenit II.
