After a scintillating loan spell at Barcelona, Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has turned her attention to the 8th FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
The speedy striker impressed on a six-month loan to Barcelona from Chinese club Dalian Quanjian F.C, with the ex Arsenal and Liverpool star scoring eight goals in 11 appearances for the Catalonia outfit.
She also became the first African lady to score in the UEFA Women’s Champions League final when Barcelona lost 4-1 to Lyon.
The hardworking goal machine will be the arrow head for Nigeria when they begin their World Cup campaign against Norway in Reims on Saturday, 8th June.
