Nigeria U20 wrapped up their preparations for the 2019 African Games with a 2-1 win over Oyah Sports FC on Saturday afternoon.
The Flying Eagles have been in Abuja for the past two weeks preparing for this month’s African Games in Morocco.
Oyah Sports shocked the Flying Eagles with the opening goal through Bidemi Owoku after 14 minutes.
Six minutes later, Liameed Quadri levellled up with a well placed volley.
The Flying Eagles were in front ten minutes into the second half. Red hot Saeed Jibril scored a sweet finish from a Ghali Ahmad pass.
The 12th edition of the Men’s African Games Football Tourney starts on August 14, with Nigeria drawn in Group A of the competition, to contend with hosts Morocco, South Africa and Burkina Faso.
Nigeria take on Burkina Faso, before matches against South Africa and Morocco in Rabat.
Burundi, Ghana, Mali and Senegal will battle things out in Group B in Kenitra.
