Nigeria forward Babajide David wants to help his team Rosenborg to the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
The attacker has been key for the Norwegian Champions so far in the competition having scored one goal and provided one assist in the preliminary rounds.
Rosenborg hold a 3-1 first leg advantage over Maribor in the final qualifier to the Group stages of this season’s UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
Babajide David is eager to propel his side to secure qualification to the group face.
“It has been good for us so far and am very happy for our performance,” he spoke to Futbalgalore.com.
“We now take on Maribor in the second leg of the final qualifier and we are preparing very well for that game.
“It’s not going to be an easy game but I have so much confident we can make it to the Group stage.
“We really want to play in the Champions League and I know with our performance so far we can get to the Group stage.”
