Super Falcons forward Francisca Ordega found the back of the net for Shanghai Shangli who held off the challenge of Jiangsu Suning to win 3-2 in a Chinese Women’s Super League week nine game on Wednesday.
Former Shanghai midfielder Tang Jiali opened the night for the League leaders with a good finish.
Shanghai started the comeback through Super Falcons forward Francisca Ordega. She scored after a Ma Yingshuang’s cross on the right and a deflection from Miao Siwen into the area.
Zhao Yingying shot well in the edge of the area. Peng Shimeng saved the first attempt but Miao Siwen gave the lead to the hosts on a rebound.
There was still more goals in the offing.
Miao Siwen scored her second of the night converting a penalty 3-1. It was her 7th in the League this season.
Right-back Li Mengwen pulled one back for Jiangsu at injury time.
