Flying Eagles playmaker Oseni eyes Cote d’Ivoire scalp

Nigeria U20 attacking midfielder Azeez Oseni believes the team has what it takes to begin the WAFU B U20 Cup of Nations on a winning note.

Ladan Bosso’s boys start their campaign at the tournament against Cote d’Ivoire on 6 December at the Stade de Galles in Porto Novo, Benin Republic.

“We have been in camp training together for some time. the most important thing is winning the game,” 36 Lion starlet Oseni informed

“I just hope we will be able to show the people that we are ready and prepared. It’s all about the three points which is important for us. It’s not going to be an easy for both teams.”

“We are playing against Cote d’Ivoire and have to show the character. Hopefully we would get a win at the end of the match,” he declared.

“It’s a very important game for me. I am looking forward to having a couple of minutes against Cote d’Ivoire.

The mercurial midfielder was quizzed on his expectation and he said: “In the main time, my target is to do well for myself and the team.
