Ex Flying Eagles striker Ohawuchi provides ‘match winning’ assist in Al Qadasiya away success

Former Flying Eagles forward Stanley Ohawuchi was at his usual best for Al Qadasiya who stunned Al Ain 2-1 on Friday.

The striker logged 90 minutes in the Saudi Arabian Professional League game which produced three goals.

Ohawuchi provided the match winning assist for Hassan Al Amiri in the 79th minute as the visitors stunned Al Ain at the King Saud Sport City Stadium (Al Bāḥa (Al Bahah)).

The striker began his career in Europe with Atlético Baleares in Spain before switching to Maltese club Sliema Wanderers in 2012.

He was very successful at Egyptian clubs Wadi Degla and Zamalek for three years, winning the best foreign player award in the Egyptian Premier League for 2015. He also played for Ajman in UAE.

Ohawuchi represented Nigeria at the 2009 Fifa U20 World Cup in Egypt, he previously had spells with Heartland and Bayelsa United in his homeland.
