Kwara United striker Michael Ohanu is glad to have scored in their Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) opener against Plateau United and has vowed to work harder for more goals this season.
The striker hit the back of the net for the Harmony Boys who shocked Plateau United 2-0 at Jos International Stadium on Sunday.
Ohanu says he is feeling great to have scored in their first match because it is his job as a striker to get goals for his side.
“I am delighted because when you are a striker and you get goals you are always happy because that is your job. So I feel good to have scored in our first match,” Ohanu told Futbalgalore.com.ng.
The former Akwa United attacker says his aim is to push harder this term and praying that he performs well for Kwara United.
“I cannot say that I will score a certain number of goals this season because I am not God, only God knows tomorrow so I will keep on working hard and hunt for goals. The number of goals He will give me I will appreciate,” he added.
