Central defender William Troost-Ekong was impressed with Watford’s intensity and fighting spirit against Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup match on Saturday night.

The Super Eagles vice captain was brilliant at the heart of defence for the Hornets as they lost 1-0 at Old Trafford

Watford were much improved in their 1-0 loss to Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s side in the tension soaked game.

“Good fight from the boys tonight (Saturday). Heads up and full focus on the league Saturday,” William Troost-Ekong wrote via Instagram.

The Tottenham Hotspur product lists Groningen, Dordrecht, KAA Gent, Haugesund, Bursaspor and Udinese as his former clubs.
