Rivers United continued their invincibility after defeating Kwara United 3-0 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Portharcourt.

The Portharcourt based side maintained their flawless run with another impressive outing against Kwara United.

Rivers United opened the goal scoring in the 33rd minute through Ifeanyi Anaemena. Godwin Aguda increased the woes of the visitors with the second goal as it ended in a comfortable first half win for the Pride of Rivers.

Godwin Chika converted a penalty in the 90th minute to put the icing on the cake for the Stanley Eguma managed side.

With the result, Rivers United sit on top of the table with 9 points from 3 matches as they prepare for the mid week clash against Wikki Tourist in the matchday four.
