Striker Ebuka David has reflected on Kano Pillars’ upbeat mood heading back into Nigeria Professional Football League action with a trip to Nasarawa United in Week 3.
The Kano outfit make the journey to Lafia this Sunday afternoon in a meeting between two sides currently top half of the table.
“We are really looking forward to Sunday,” commented Ebuka David, before assessing the team’s start to the season so far.
“My opinion is that there has been a good balance. Of the two games, we have been quite good against Adamawa United and Katsina United with four points.
“On the team we are looking forward to Sunday. We have to go for the three points in Lafia and see if we can show our best side.
“We are anticipating on beating Nasarawa United at the Lafia City Stadium.
The Nigerian top flight match between Nasarawa United and Kano Pillars will take place at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday. Kickoff is 4pm.
