Abdu Maikaba was very pleased with his Plateau United side as they defeated struggling Adamawa United 3-0 in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) week five on Sunday.
Amos Gyang scored the opener from the penalty spot before Innocent Kingsley bagged a late brace to seal three points for Maikaba’s men.
“These sort of games are always very dangerous,” he told Futbalgalore.com.ng.
“The opponent is theoretically much lower than us.
“But during the important parts of the game we were stronger than them.
“The players knew how to interpret the game. When we needed to kill off the game, we did exactly that.
“I was very pleased,” he added.
