Lobi Stars head into this weekend’s game against Abia Warriors looking to maintain a perfect home record so far in the Nigeria Professional Football League season.

Kabiru Dogo’s wards are unbeaten in their last five games which keeps the momentum going as the boss mulls over whether to make changes this weekend.

We’ve had a go at naming the side Dogo could go with.
GK – Mustapha Aliko
Former Niger Tornadoes number one is still the best all round goalkeeper that Lobi Stars have available. He should replace Moses Ocheje in the starting line up.
RB – John Lazarus
John Lazarus will head into this game as the automatic choice to start.
CB – Alex Aghahowa
Aghahowa was in good form in Enugu and will be a key player should Abia Warriors try and hit Lobi Stars over the top.
CB – Moses Tsehuan
Seems to have grown in confidence from his display against Rangers.
LB – Ebube Duru
Duru offers pace down the left hand side and provides a good outlet for the midfield should the middle become congested.
CM – Duke Osimaga
Osimaga looks at home as the defensive shield and is well suited to cutting in and getting involved in the central play.
CM – Douglas Achiv
Lobi Stars fans should feel happy to see Achiv start. He works his socks off.
AM – Samuel Mathias
Mathias ability to work box-to-box doesn’t need to be sold. He is always a threat from set pieces.
RW – Thomas Zenke
Played well against Rangers last week. He offers complete control when he’s in possession.
LW – Austin Ogunye
It would be harsh from Dogo not to keep him in the team following a strong performance against Dakkada and Rangers.
ST – Chinonso Okonkwo
Okonkwo should start up front after Ossy Martins red card at the Cathedral. He’s not a bad replacement to have.
