Obagoal as he known by his admirers has plied his trade for Ebedie, Reggiana, Inter Milan, Newcastle United, VfL Wolfsburg, Rubin Kazan, Birmingham, Levante, Seattle Sounders, Shanghai Shenhua and Zuhan in his glittering football.

Despite having a net worth of over $30m, the striker respects all in public gatherings. He is very humble.

There was a particular throwback of Obafemi Martins sighted online when he met Nigeria President, His Excellency Mohammodu Buhari some years ago.

Martins bowed to take picture with Buhari, showing that he is a well brought up man who respects elders.
