The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) have revealed the African Women’s team of the decade with players who performed from 2011 to 2020.
As expected there are Super Falcons stars in the list, with Asisat Oshoala, Onome Ebi, Osinachi Ohale and Ngozi Okobi selected.
IFFHS x-rayed the performances and impact of the individual player on her club and national team. It also put into consideration statistics of their performance as yardstick to be selected.
Veteran defender Ebi was joined by Ohale in a backline that also includes legendary South Africa libero Van Wick.
Former Rivers Angels star Elizabeth Addo was selected in a midfield three that also has Aboudi Onguene and the crafty Okobi.
Speedy striker Oshoala takes her place as the arrow head upfront.
