Nigeria striker Junior Lokosa couldn’t make his long awaited debut for Tanzanian side Simba SC on Thursday, reports.

Simba SC manager Didier Gomes didn’t include the former Kano Pillars striker in his 18-man squad for their trip to the Jamhuri Stadium (Morogoro) to face Dodoma Jiji FC in a Vodacom Tanzanian Premier League tie which the visitors won 2-1.

Lokosa completed his six-month move to Simba SC in the January transfer window after an uneventful spell at Esperance.

However, the Super Eagles striker should make his official debut for the reigning Vodacom Tanzanian Premier League champions on February 7 when they play Azam at home.
