Super Eagles goalie Daniel Akpeyi has been included in Kaizer Chiefs’ travelling squad to Morocco for their opening CAF Champions League group stage match.

Amakhosi have qualified for the group stages of the Champions League for the first time in their history and face Wydad Casablanca, a club Mamelodi Sundowns knows far too well, having come up against them on quite a few occasions in the past.

Goalkeeper Akpeyi is in the travelling squad, while Bernard Parker is included after missing Amakhosi’s last couple of matches due to suspension.

Defender Ramahlwe Mphahlele is back in the team after missing the last few matches with injury.

Midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase, who was given an opportunity in the Nedbank Cup against Richards Bay over weekend, has not been included.
