See who should be held responsible if Abia Warriors fail to beat Rangers

Abia Warriors players cannot shy away from their responsibility as it is imperative that they return to winning ways against Rangers in the Nigeria Professional Football League on Sunday.

The Umuahia outfit will head into Sunday’s clash against Rangers at Okigwe without a win since day 8.

Who is to be blamed for this run of poor form?

The finger almost inevitably points towards Imama Amapakabo. He has won only one game so far.

It is all too easy to point the finger at the managers when things are going wrong, but the players need to take responsibility.

If Abia Warriors fail to win on Sunday, then questions should be asked of the players.

One can discuss all day how Imama Amapakabo has struggled at Abia Warriors but if the Umuahia Warriors lose or draw on Sunday, then it will show that it is the players who need to step up.

As important as the manager is for a team, the players need to do their job on the football pitch. So far the Abia Warriors stars haven’t stepped up despite the good welfare package at the team.
