Ikenna Offor braced for tough Jigawa Golden Stars test

Nasarawa United return to league action when they take on Jigawa Golden Stars at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium on Sunday, 21 February 2021.

The Solid Miners go into the match in sixth position on the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) standings, while Stars lie 13th.

United will be out to avoid defeat in the league as they look to consolidate on a recent 2-1 win over Akwa United.

“Overall, we did well in the last game against Akwa United,” said Ikenna Offor in a chat with Futbalgalore.com.ng.

“We have been able to come together, and the coach has done well to direct and advise us how to continue the form.

“So we have some good rhythm and are ready to go on Sunday when the match against Jigawa Golden Stars kicks off.”

Winning? “The major objective is to go to Kaduna and pick three points, we have been sharp in away games this season and this one won’t be different.”
