Rivers United midfielder Kehinde Adedipe has explained the reason they need to score goals against Enyimba in the return leg of the Caf Confederation Cup.

The first leg between the two sides ended 1-0 in favour of Enyimba in Aba.

Ahead of the fixture at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Adedipe has urged his teammates to make sure they go for as many goals as possible.

“This is a very crucial Caf game,” Adedipe told Futbalgalore.com.ng.

“That’s the only positive, we’ve got another chance to put it right and to go through.

“Of course it’s not going to be easy but playing at home we still fancy our chances. We’ve got to give everything we can – we want to stay in this and go further in this competition and get some sort of belief

“What we have control over is this leg, we shall fight for the badge and ensure we pick the result we need.”

“We have enough in our armoury to win and qualify to the next level,” the former Sunshine Stars and Rangers man also told Futbalgalore.com.ng. “They got the advantage in the first leg but we are determined.

“We want to win this one and get to the next level, but we must do it by playing our way, with belief and showing that we want it.”
