Abubakar Bala is on a mission to lead Niger Tornadoes to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), with the head coach facing a tough Nigeria National League (NNL) week 2 match against Road Safety on Saturday.
The ex FC Lokoja said that the players are in high spirit ahead of the game at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna and that the team is growing in confidence.
“The morale in the team is high and that’s what we need at this point. The spirit among the players is high and they are willing to go out there and win the game.
“I have always said that we wanted to win against Shekarau Babes but that the most important game is the one against Road Safety and that’s what we want to do on Saturday.
“We need the three points and that’s all we need and we have to fight for that,” the former Kwara United coach said.
