Kayode: This is a real test
Goalkeeper Olufemi Kayode has emphasised the importance of Sunday’s CAF Confederation Cup second leg play off game against Rivers United, with qualification ticket at stake.
The People’s Elephants go into the game high in confidence, following last weekend’s 1-0 fist leg win, however Kayode believes that the game in Port Harcourt will be a real test for them.
He said that there is no room for error, as they keep their hopes of qualifying for CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
“We know the importance of this game. We know that winning this game will take us to the top of the table in the group.
“This is a real test for us and we need to be strong both physically and mentally to pass the test and we are up to the test,” stated the goalkeeper.
