Samson Akinyoola and Ade Oguns debuted for Caracas against Peruvian side Cesar Vallejo in a CONMEBOL Libertadores first leg match that ended 0-0 on Thursday morning, Futbalgalore.com.ng reports.

The 36 Lion products impressed in the intensive game played at the Estadio Monumental (Lima).

Akinyoola spotting jersey number 9 started upfront and lasted 90 minutes before being replaced at injury time. He was fearless and menaced the Cesar Vallejo backline.

Winger Ade Oguns was a 90th minute substitute for Richard Celis Sánchez. Oguns made his presence felt with a beautiful cross that will surely impress coach Noel Sanvicente Bethelmy.

Second leg of the CONMEBOL Libertadores round will take place at the Estadio Olímpico de la UCV (Caracas) on 3rd March.
