Jazzy Stars product Yusuf Bamidele was the star as 10-man Spartak Trnava whizzed past Zilina in the Slovakian Super Liga on Saturday.
Bamidele was the star of the show, scoring a brace at Anton Malatinsky.
Michal Gasparik’s side showed their strength for the entirety of the match and got off to a perfect start as Bamidele scored the opener after just 15 minutes, getting on the end of Martin Mikovic’s assist.
Zilina tried to respond quickly and pressed Spartak Trnava for the equalise, with Nigerian born forward Taofiq Jubril forcing a good save out of Dobrivoj Rusov.
Trnava, however, showed their quality and Bamidele doubled their lead on the half-hour mark.
Dominik Javorcek reduced the deficit in the 40th minute.
A red card to Kristian Kostrna on 58 minutes didn’t deter Spartak Trnava from winning the game.
