NPFL: 9 facts to prep you for the weekend

With the dust only just settling on Rivers United’s 1-1 draw with Plateau United, the next round of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matches is almost upon us.

The highlight is undoubtedly Sunday’s Oriental Derby at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, but there are subplots aplenty across the country.

Here are the best weekend preview stats via

Warri Wolves Vs Akwa United

Warri Wolves are unbeaten in their last six NPFL matches against Akwa United (W2 D4), keeping a clean sheet in two games.

Plateau United Vs MFM FC

The last two visits of MFM FC to Jos ended in defeats.

Adamawa United Vs Dakkada FC

Both sides are unbeaten in their last two games, with four and six points respectively. Last season, Dakkada FC walloped Adamawa United 4-1.

Wikki Tourists Vs Kwara United
