Young Nigerian goalkeeper Ovie Ejeheri has returned from injury after five weeks. The young Arsenal goalkeeper sustained the injury on January 23, according to Jeorge Bird.
Ejeheri returned to training this week – recovering from the injury he sustained in a humiliating 4-1 defeat over Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the year.
His return to action is a motivation for the Gunners U-18 side which are preparing to face Aston Villa next Tuesday. Due to his absence, he missed the games against Crystal Palace, West Ham, Brighton & Hove Albion, and West Brom.
Born in Greenwich, London, he is also eligible to represent either Uganda or England. Arsenal will hope to retain his service – as his contract expires at the end of the season.
The Gunners are seventh on the log with 22 points, while Aston Villa are five points ahead of them in the fifth position.
