Lobi Stars will file out 4 PM Sunday 7th March, 2021 at the Lafia Township Stadium in a rivalry renewal NPFL 2020/2021 fixture against Nasarawa United.

The two teams shared so much similarities, in team strength, fan base, and remains the closest other NPFL Match venues to each other. Nasarawa United enjoy this advantage more, having used Aper Aku stadium Makurdi as a home ground at one point or the other, feel at home against Lobi even if the game is in Makurdi. This game has all the characteristics of a local derby and can best be described as such.

The near equality in strength can be shown in their proximity positions on the league table, all time direct games from head to head, and the last five head to head games, showing current form.

Lobi Stars are currently occupying the 7th position on the log with 19 points from 13 games while Nasarawa United that seem to be having it good are just 1 point superior, occupying the 6th position on the log. Having played an all time 16 direct games, with 6 wins each and 4 draws.

The last 5 games of the two clubs in the current season shows that, Lobi won 2, lose 2 and draw 1, while Nasarawa won 2 and lost 3. Some how, the two teams kept a 100% home win in their last 2 games and 100% losses in last 2 away fixtures which gave the home team a predictable advantage. The last 5 NPFL head to head put both clubs at 2 wins each and 1 draw in between.
