Highly rated attacking midfielder, Abiodun “Omojesu” Ogunniyi made his official debut for Spartaks Jūrmala in the Latvian Virsliga week 1 on Saturday, Futbalgalore.com.ng reports.
The 19-year-old midfielder logged 90 minutes in his club suffered a 2-1 loss to BFC Duagavpils at Stadions Celtnieks.
A total of seven Nigerians featured in the game at Duagavpils.
They are Joshua Akpudje, Saminu Abdullahi, Richard Friday, Israel Igbeneweka, David Idowu, Dele Israel and Omojesu.
OmoJesu linked up with Spartaks Jūrmala from Sunshine Stars on 15th January 2021.
He will be hoping for something better when Spartaks Jūrmala face FS Metta/Latvijas Universitate next weekend.
