Super Eagles invitee Viv Solomon-Otabor was impressive for Wigan who drew 1-1 with AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday.

The winger logged 90 minutes as the Lactics picked up a draw in an English League 1 game at Plough Lane.

Otabor was menacing at the left flank for John Sheridan’s side in the pulsating battle.

The former Birmingham City, Bolton Wanderers and CSKA Sofia star peppered the Wimbledon back four.

Nigerian born Funso Ojo starred for Wigan Athletic in the entertaining game.

Jamie Proctor drew the curtain raiser for Wigan from Dan Gardner’s assist in the 58th minute.

The hosts pushed forward and were rewarded with a deserved leveler thanks to George Dobson’s 79th minute strike.

It will be recalled that Viv Solomon-Otabor was invited for the Super Eagles’ friendly match with Brazil in 2019 but he didn’t feature despite showing promises in training.

He also lists Crystal Palace, Blackpool and Portsmouth among his previous clubs.

Wigan Athletic are 19th on the English League 1 ladder as at the time of filing this report.

Do you think Viv Solomon-Otabor deserves another chance in the Super Eagles team?
