Warri Wolves have fired coach Evans Ogenyi following the team’s poor run of results in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The Seasiders have had a frustrating campaign in the 2020-21 campaign after picking just six points in their last six matches in the league.

After a 1-0 win over Rivers United, the Seasiders lost 2-0 to Kwara United and Wikki Tourists. They drew with Enyimba, Akwa United and Jigawa Golden Stars.

The poor run of results have seen Evans Ogenyi leave Wolves in position 19 of the 20-team league table with 15 points from 16 matches.

Evans Ogenyi lists Bayelsa United, Enyimba, Nasarawa United, Jigawa Golden Stars, defunct Ocean Boys and Lobi Stars as his former clubs.
