36 Lion product, Samson Akinyoola registered the only goal for Caracas as they lost 3-1 to Junior FC in the Copa Libertadores knockout second leg game at Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez (Barranquilla) on Thursday morning.
The Colombian outfit scored the first two goals of the game through Miguel Borja and Teofilo Gutierrez.
Striker Samson Akinyoola reduced the deficit from the penalty spot to give Caracas hope of winning.
However, John Pajoy, put the game beyond the Venezuelan side in the 90th minute.
Another 36 Lion product, Ade Oguns lasted full throttle for Caracas at Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez (Barranquilla).
The result saw Caracas fell short as they crashed out 5-2 on aggregate.
Despite the ouster, there are positives to take from the Caracas team as Samson Akinyoola scored two goals over both legs.
