Nigerian born defender Ubong Williams mused that early goals made life difficult for Dakkada FC at Nasarawa United, as he looks to put the defeat behind the team as soon as possible.
The Uyo side were hit with a 3-0 loss in Week 16’s trip to Lafia, with Ikenna Offor netting a brace and Silas Nwankwo getting on the scoresheet.
“There is nothing that you can say. We must listen, stay quiet and wait for the next game,” William stated afterwards.
“The early goals really distabilized and spoilt our plans for the game.
“Our slow start didn’t really help matters at all. We should just pick up the pieces and move on.
“We have lost the game and nothing more. We have given it everything and in the end have played well. We are now thinking about the next game.”
