Kwara Football Academy (KFA) are through to the semifinal of the Ramat cup. They edged host Kano 3-2 on Wednesday morning.
KFA took a 3-0 win in the opening half of the game through Abubarkar Garba. His first three goals in the tournament.
The host came back better in the second half – and reduced the deficit with two goals from the penalty spot. Kano state pushed hard for the equalizer, but the Sky Blue Dragons held on to the victory.
Kwara Football Academy will square-up against Bauchi state in the semifinal. The game will be played on Thursday at 10:00 am.
In the other semifinal game, Team Oyo will square-up against Team Ogun. Team Oyo came back from a goal down to beat Team Sokoto in the quarterfinal.
