Officials and media at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos were treated to a highly competitive Super Eagles training session on Monday with Oghenekaro Etebo giving another reason he could be in the starting line up against Lesotho, while Kelechi Iheanacho mesmerised opposing defenders.
It was the last two-dimensional training before the Super Eagles face Lesotho in a dead rubber Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifier.
The training was very competitive because the coaches wish to condition the Super Eagles for victory over Lesotho.
All the players battled to justify their call-ups and intensity was noteworthy.
Oghenekaro Etebo, who is know longer an automatic choice in midfield, fought hard and on the strength of what he displayed Monday, he will be a starter against the Crocodiles.
Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho, caught the eyes as he dazzled past a defence of Semi Ajayi and Adekunle Adeleke.
The Eagles will take on Lesotho at the Teslim Balogun Stadium on Tuesday.
Kick-off time is 5pm local time.
