The former Mainz defender played both games as the Super Eagles qualified for the 2021 AFCON tournament in Cameroon.

According to the Scottish Sun, the
Nigerian defender has earned a new deal with the Rangers after playing enough games to trigger a contract extension.
Balogun needed to make twenty-three starts in all competition to trigger an extension, and he reached the required starts against Celtic before the international break.
He has played nineteen games and created two assists in the league. The Nigerian defender also featured in 8 games before the Rangers – were eliminated from the UEFA Europa League.
