Porto striker Toni Martinez has described Zaidu Sanusi as the funniest player in the dressing room, Martinez told the Sportsman.
The Super Eagles left-back joined Porto last summer and has made an instant impression in the first-team.
He was signed to replace Alex Telles, who was bound to join Manchester United then – and has filled in the position seamlessly.
He revealed that the Super Eagles left-back jokes around with every player in the dressing room.
Ahead of the Chelsea game, Martinez describes Sanusi as the fastest player he has played with – in his career.
“Zaidu Sanusi. He is the funny one – he is always joking with team-mates and gets on with everyone. He is too quick, probably the quickest player I have seen in my life!”
Chelsea and Porto will square up against each other – in the Champions League at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.
The Porto defender was in action for Nigeria during the international break. He played both games (against the Republic of Benin and Lesotho) from the start but – was substituted – against Lesotho.
