Kwara United duo Adeshina Gata and Salaudeen Taiwo are out of the game against Nasarawa United on Sunday at the Kwara State Stadium.
Adeshina Gata made the trip to Katsina but had a knock and could not recover – to play against Nasarawa United. However, Taiwo Salaudeen is still nursing the injury that has kept him out for about two weeks.
Speaking ahead of the game, Abdullahi Biffo confirmed the absence of both players but believes his team has enough depth to cope with their absence.
“Gata and Taiwo are out of the game. Salaudeen did not make the trip to Katsina, but Gata did and had a knock. He has not been training since we got back from Katsina.
“Salaudeen – has been sidelined for almost two weeks, and he would not be part of the game on Sunday.”
However, Biffo revealed that both players – would not be missed on Sunday.
“We would miss them because we have formed a good family, not because – one is not there we are not going to play.
“I can assure you we have capable players – who can replace them on the field and play better.
He disclosed that Jide Williams, who missed the game against Katsina – is back against Nasarawa United.
“But for Williams, he trained very well, and he is with the team. He is among the twenty players that are in camp – for the game. However, we will see if he will start.
