Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti has explained why he omitted Alex Iwobi from the squad that faced Crystal Palace on Monday evening.

Ancelotti revealed that Alex Iwobi had a slight problem, and his name is not on the list.
“We had a little problem in the past few days with Iwobi and Allan. Not a big deal, but they are not able to play.
“Gbamin has a strong desire to play, and if I have the possibility, I want to give him minutes.
Alex Iwobi has featured in twenty-five games, scored once, and assisted two goals. He has started fifteen Premier League games and nineteen in all competitions.
