English Premier League side Arsenal FC have received a triple injury boost ahead of their Thursday night Europa League tie against Peter Olayinka’s Slavia Prague.
There were doubts over the trio of Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, and Granit Xhaka ahead of the game but reports from The Express indicate that all trained on Tuesday.
Xhaka with illness, Smith Rowe, and Saka with hip and hamstring issues respectively missed the club’s weekend loss at the hands of Liverpool and the news will be a welcome boost for manager Mikel Arteta who is coming under a lot of pressure following a string of unconvincing results.
The Gunners will train again late on Wednesday afternoon and a final decision on who can be involved, for the first leg of the quarter-final set for the Emirates Stadium set to be decided after the Wednesday session.
It will recalled that Bukayo Saka dumped Nigeria for England at international level.
