Super Eagles striker Chidera Ejuke scored his first goal in 176 goals in CSKA Moscow’s 2-0 victory over FC Rotor Volgograd on Monday at the VEB Arena.
The Nigerian striker opened the scoring in the first minute of the first-half’s stoppage time to end his twenty matches unbeaten run in all competition. Chidera shot with his right foot from the outside box beat Josip Condric. Salomon Rondon doubled the host advantage in the second half.
The goal was Chidera Ejuke’s first – since scoring in a 3-1 victory over Dinamo Moscow on October 18, 2020.
CSKA Moscow are fourth on the log with forty-six points from twenty-five games. Ejuke has scored three goals, created two assists in twenty league games.
