Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho has reacted to the winning goal scored against Crystal Palace on Monday evening. The Foxes won the game by 2-1 despite going behind in the game.
The win strengthens the Foxes position on the third position, four points ahead of Chelsea, and five points below Manchester United on the Premier League table.
Wilfred Zaha gave the visitors the lead from an assist from Eberechi Eze before Kelechi Iheanacho created the assist for the equalizer and scored the winner ten minutes to the end of the game.
On his winning goal, Iheanacho told Skysports that he had nothing in – his mind other than shift and shoot the ball.
“I was in the box, and it was on my left foot – I was not thinking about anything else – shift and shoot.
“When you have confidence in your game – it makes you perform well, and it keeps coming, and you keep scoring.
The Nigerian striker has scored fourteen goals in his last fourteen appearances in all competitions.
