Former Super Eagles striker Victor Ikpeba blasts Bernad Leno for the error made during Everton 1-0 win at the Emirate Stadium. The former African Footballer of the Year described the situation as terrible goalkeeping.
Speaking on SuperSport Monday Night Football, Victor Ikpeba questioned the maturity of the squad and – laments the number of mistakes made by the club.
“No, it was terrible goalkeeping from the goalkeeper, an own goal, it shouldn’t happen.
“When you look at the timeline of this Arsenal side all season, a lot of stupid errors, goals they shouldn’t concede.
“It shows the immaturity of this side, it is time for this team to grow, and we start thinking about the old Arsenal side.”
Victor Ikpeba played under Arsene Wenger while he was a Monaco player.
