Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has revealed the reason Royal Antwerp is his favourite opponent in Belgium.
The Nigerian striker scored his thirtieth league goal against them on Friday when Genk secured a 3-2 win over them at the Bosuilstadion.
Since joining Genk in 2019, Paul Onuachu has scored six goals in five appearances against the Great Old.
Speaking to Voetbalkrant, Paul Onuachu said their style of play is the reason he scores a lot against them because it suits his style.
“Antwerp is a strong team that plays very physically, but you have to be hard and play smart when you play against such an opponent. We did that today, and that suits me.
“When I played in Denmark, we played 11 times against the same opponent, and I managed to score 11 times. I have the same feeling with Antwerp . So yes, I like to play against Antwerp”.
Onuachu is a goal away from equalling the record of Josip Weber in the 1992/1993 seasons.
