Nigerian striker Sadiq Umar eyes promotion and Pichichi award with Almeria. The Nigerian striker has been impressive so far but hopes to – gain promotion to La Liga with the club.

The Nigerian striker told reporters that he – is focused on gaining promotion with the club. He also admitted that he is satisfied with his performance.

“Individually, I am satisfied with the number of goals I have achieved, but in reality, the most important thing for me, the primary objective, is a promotion to First Division, and we are going to fight for it even though the playoffs.

Sadiq stated that he does – not monitor the Pichichi data and revealed that it would be good to win the award.

“I do not continuously look at the Pichichi data – it would be good to achieve it, but what I focus the most on is not so much in scoring, but in the team doing it, I like to give assists and score points for the team.

“If I succeed and help the team reach its goal, I would be happy with it.”
